Napoleon, a Burrowing Owl was born on July 4, 2022.
He was raised by Derron Meador, a falconer in Maryland. Since Napoleon is a young
bird he has been staying at one of our volunteer's home for training. He enjoys his treats of mealworms, they help keep him happy.. who
doesn't like treats! He has already attended several presentations.
He's a charmer, but he likes to remind us that he is a fierce predator -
thus his name, Napoleon.
