On 4/22, a conservation officer and Lynnanne Fager were contacted by a home owner in Marion, that he observed two eagles fighting on his property. One of the eagles dropped to the ground and was not flying. Lynnanne and the officer chased the eagle through a cemetery and caught the eagle. Lynnanne said that a wing was drooping as it was running. The eagle was transported in a dog carrier to Huntington where Wayne and I transported her to the ICU. This was a huge eagle!  She was very strong and feisty. It took three of us to get her x-rated and examined. A wing droop was not observed in her carrier, so Dr. Riebe will read the x-rays and determine if there are any injuries.
